    2011 scheduling

Post by jusblaze09 on Wed Sep 01, 2010 12:44 pm

Since we have a month left game time left, and we now have a new forum, I think its best if we have a scheduling thread where we set in stone our OOC series for easy tracking.

Clark, do you want to keep the rivalry going?

I wanna play USC every year if possible and we arent doing 3 users

Other than that, I dont care who my user games are, tho Id like to do a Home and Home with Auburn and VT (already played VT this year so will just need 1 next year)

I assume that we're going to do 3 user games, and I already have two in conference. Anyone want to call me out?

Alright for my 4 non-con games this is what I'm thinking.

    @ Georgia Tech
    vs. Ole Miss
    @ Wisconsin
    vs. Arizona

So stop would you like to have a home and home with me? Gives whoever losses a shot at revenge next season.

yeah ABC/ESPN would write us a fat check for that one. I'm down but i only hesitate cuz that prolly means we couldn't meet back in the Natty. Gotta make sure we don't have a TCU next year lol

Clark, I just talked to DDA and he wants you and me in a home a home. Are you cool with it? It's possible that you could have 5 user games if you play South Carolina and UGA this season. What do you think about this: If you have less than 4 user games this season, I'll schedule it for you. If you have 4 or more already then I won't. What do you think about that?

I changed my mind a bit on my non-conference schedule. I want to play a little bit tougher competition so this is what I'm thinking.

    @ Georgia Tech
    vs. Connecticut
    @ Wisconsin
    vs. Kentucky

So we thinking of next season yet?

I lost Breon so, does that mean I pick up ho, or what?

Ive played Kid twice and Stop twice.

Id like to play jayhawk, spliff, urbs

If any of those can be squeezed in. Id kinda like to keep mine and kids series going if he wants... we have had 2 good games. I really want a break from stop lol. We split 1-1, but its a disadvantage to have to play him every year!

Hey guys, I need to know what all out of conference games you guys want or have set up against users. I'm gonna go ahead and start working on the schedules so that when it's time to plug them in, it hopefully won't take as long. This is all of course assuming Splff would like my assistance, if you would rather do it all by yourself Splff just let me know.

So far the user matchups I have are (these are assuming Urbs takes Florida as it seems he's leaning that way, and I had to put in some extra user matchups to make the 3 users requirement, if anyone has any issues with these games or changes to make let me know):
    Arkansas/A&M
    Auburn/Kansas
    Florida/FSU
    FSU/Florida, FSU/Wisconsin
    Georgia=NONE
Kansas/Wisconsin, Kansas/Auburn, Kansas/VaTech (Kid I need one more user game so you wanna go?)
    LSU=NONE
    Michigan/A&M, Michigan/VaTech
    Penn State/VaTech, Penn State/A&M
    A&M/Arkansas, A&M/Michigan, A&M/Penn State
    VaTech/Kansas, VaTech/Michigan, VaTech/Penn State
    Wisconsin/Kansas,Wisconsin/Florida State

Again, these are just what I remember and some extras thrown in to meet league requirements. If I have anything wrong or anyone wants to make changes, let me know.

P.S. If Urban decides to stick with Nebraska then that changes things considerably and this will be redone.

Splff, I also assume that if at all possible, it is preferably that everybody's first game is against the CPU, correct? This shouldn't be as big of a problem without our one PAC-10 user.

This is the list of CPU teams I plan on having at least one user play as they could potentially have really good records next season. (Most of these teams are in either the Big East, PAC 10, or non-BCS conferences as there are no users in those conferences to face them)

    Miami
    Pitt,
    Rutgers,
    West Virginia,
    Connecticut,
    Cincinnati,
    Southern Miss,
    Houston,
    East Carolina,
    Notre Dame,
    Central Michigan,
    TCU,
    Utah,
    USC,
    Oregon,
    Stanford,
    Boise State,
    Nevada,
    and Fresno State

If there are any other teams that anyone needs to play because they are rivals (I already got you for GaTech Joker) let me know. In additionm if there are any other teams that anyone thinks should have to face a user because they could make a run, let me know.

WVU And Miami are my rivals.... I may already play them ... I guess if I don't play Miami you can't add them as per spliff rule 2... But WVU for sure
